Dear Ones,
I pray the week is treating you well. Things are busy, busy, busy at CCA and I’m so grateful for the many ways you all pitch in to make light work for one another!
As usual, a few things to be aware of (more info below!):
1. Social Hour is tomorrow night, 11/4—hope to see you there from 5-7pm!
2. Sign-ups are happening for Thanksgiving dinner and Advent dinner—we hope you can join us!
3. Clean-up Day on Saturday, November 12 will be all sorts of gardening and landscaping projects, so bring some gardening tools and some gloves and come out that morning for breakfast and some outdoor work during this gorgeous time of year.
We are also mid-way through our Stewardship season called The Best is Yet to Come. I hope you’ve been able to enjoy thinking of the many reasons you love CCA and the ways you hope to support the mission and ministry of this parish in the coming year!
If you were in church on October 23, you heard me talk about some financial considerations we are facing – and if you’d like to know more about those, please feel free to talk with any of our Finance Committee (Ed Dietrich, Keith Costello, Melissa Bull, Janene Smith, Chick Morgan, and Gailen Smith). While we do indeed have needs, there is SO much to look forward to when we all band together for the sake of God’s Kingdom!
And if you’ve missed our witness speakers sharing about their love of CCA, please visit www.ccaaz.org/pledge - I know they will inspire you!
This Sunday is All Saints’ Sunday – when we remember those who’ve gone before us to eternity. It’s a moving time to give thanks together. I hope to see you there.
Peace,
Mother Erika
