Life at Christ Church of the Ascension is centered in offering beautiful worship to the Creator. This makes sense given the glory of our natural surroundings! Whether watching the sun rise over Camelback Mountain or hearing the choir bring life to our hymns - we are lifted up as we bring ourselves to worship. All of it flows out of Christ’s love for us, which infuses us with joy that enables us to offer that same love back to Christ’s world.
Loving Christ and Each Other: Koinonia
The disciples ate with Jesus frequently in the Gospels, as did tax collectors, religious people, sinners, and foreigners. We too often get together at social events like dinners, talent shows, camping, and coffee hours. These moments may be beautiful planned events or simple gatherings, but no matter how, what, where, when - just like in Jesus’s ministry, they are essential to life in Christ. It is the joy of Koinonia: fellowship, community, togetherness. If you’ve been looking for a place to call your own, CCA just might be where you belong. Baptism, Confirmation, and Reception
If you or your child seek to join the Episcopal church through Baptism, Confirmation, or Reception, we invite you to speak with one of our clergy to find out more about these processes.
Membership
Members of Christ Church of the Ascension serve in vital roles as Vestry members, are active on various church committees, and vote at the Annual Meeting held in January.

Memorial Services and Garden
CCA is here to assist members with service arrangements for burial at a local cemetery or interment here in our Memorial Garden columbarium.

The CCA Prayer Chain prays daily for members of the parish who have requested prayers for themselves, their families, and their friends.
