Jesus said, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” - John 13:34,35

Jesus taught us how to serve our neighbors in love, and so we work to enact that through various mission partnerships. Christ Church of the Ascension offers many opportunities to get involved through service within the church, to our local community, and throughout the world. Choir

Lend your voice in joyful song! Music is an important part of our worship, and encompasses a wide variety of hymns and anthems from the Renaissance to the music of today.

Daughters of the King

The Joy in the Desert Chapter of The Order of the Daughters of the King © is a spiritual sisterhood dedicated to enhancing spiritual growth through prayer, service and evangelism.

There are many ways to serve in love right here at Christ Church of the Ascension! Volunteers "make things happen" around the church campus, during worship services, and at our many parish events.



Safe Church, Safe Communities

CCA is committed to maintaining a safe environment free of exploitation, harassment, and abuse of any kind in our church and school. All volunteers and employees are required to take Safe Church, Safe Communities training courses in accordance with the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona policy.
